Cotton Lace

This delicate, decorative fabric is created by looping, interlacing or knitting thread in elaborate, open web-like patterns.

Description

The lace fabric has an open weave with visible space in between the weaves.

The mesh like appearance gives a classy and delicate touch to a fabric.

It is often considered as a form of embroidery; but the difference is that the embroidery is a form of ornamentation done on a completed fabric whereas the lace is a complete fabric in itself.
